Soot blowers are used to free from the dirt gas side of heat transfer surfaces to permit the boiler to control at high potency. They additionally accustomed stop plugging of the gas passes. They're mechanical devices used for on-line cleanup of gas side boiler ash and slag deposits on a periodical basis. They direct a operating medium through nozzles against the soot or ash accumulated on the heat transfer surfaces of boilers to get rid of ash deposited on coils, and improve heat transfer potency. Soot blowers situated in boilers at numerous locations like water walls , superheaters , economizers and air pre heaters .in boilers while not sootblowers the warmth transfer won't as per the look and improve potency . Hence the study of sootblowers can effectively increase the boiler potency in power plants.

Development of Bending Tool for Reducing Inter Mediate Length (IML) between the offset bend. The minimum length is requiring between the centers of the bend tool and bending machine is 350 mm. So, we cannot bend our sufficient degrees and length. In order to solve the defects, we change the bend die as per our convenience for reducing length. It is non-standard .This modified bend die's advantage is to bend 0-0 degree as well as reduce the Inter Mediate Length (IML ) .For this success , we modified the components of bending machine (Bend die, Clamp die) . It is very useful to lower bend without changing other bending machine. This machine is called Rotary draw bending machine. It contains four components- Benddie , Pressure die , Clamp die, Mandrel. Bend die , Pressure die , clamp die were modified as per our required diameter which is used in burner panel.

Reducing weight while increasing or maintaining strength of products is getting to be highly important research issue in this modern world. Composite materials are one of the material families which are attracting researchers and being solutions of such issue. In this paper we describe design and analysis of composite leaf spring. The objective is to compare the stresses and weight saving of composite leaf spring with that of steel leaf spring. The design constraint is stiffness. The Automobile Industry has great interest for replacement of steel leaf spring with that of composite leaf spring, since the composite materials has high strength to weight ratio, good corrosion resistance. The material selected was glass fiber reinforced polymer (E-glass/epoxy), carbon epoxy and graphite epoxy is used against conventional steel. The design parameters were selected and analyzed with the objective of minimizing weight of the composite leaf spring as compared to the steel leaf spring. The leaf spring was modeled in PRO-E and the analysis was done using ANSYS.12 software.

Third-ordernonlinear optical (NLO) properties of undoped and dye doped 1, 7, 7- trimethylbicyclo [2.2.1] heptan-2-one was studied by a single beam Z–scan technique. The experiments were performedusing a continuous wave (CW) diode laser operating at 635 nm wavelength witha 5 mW of total power. Both undoped and dye doped samples exhibited a negative value of nonlinear refraction and nonlinear absorption coefficient respectively due to self-defocusing and reverse saturable absorption (RSA)behaviors. The real and imaginary parts of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility were found to be the order of 10–5esu. The self-diffraction ring pattern of the transmitted beam profile was also observed at far field. Based on the experimental results the authors suggest that the sample studied here may be a potential material for applications in photonics and optoelectronics.

ZnS nanoparticles codoped with Ni2+ and Mg2+ have been synthesized at room temperature through soft chemical route. The nanostructures of the prepared nanoparticles have been anlysised using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning election microscope (SEM) with energy dispersive diffraction (EDX), UV-Vis spectrophotometer, PL spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The sizes of the as codoped nanoparticles are found to be 5.2 – 7.8 nm range. Room temperature photoluminescent spectrum exhibits multiple emission peaks under UV excitation. The Mg2+ doped ZnS:Ni2+ samples enhanced the visibile light emission at optimal concentration and there after concentration quenching effect was observed

Nickel doped ZnSNpswere synthesizedby chemical precipitation technique using various concentrations of sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP) as capping agent. Characterizations carry out to study different properties of the acquired particles crystalline size and shape analysis by X-ray diffraction, UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy show blue shift in absorption edge as compared to bulk ZnSand Nps size determined by using the mathematical model of effective mass approximation equation, surface morphology with particle size by Transmission Electron Microscope, photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of the ZnS:Ni2+Nps exhibits strong emission centered at 468 nm, with increase in SHMP concentration upto 0.75 wt % and decrease in intensity for higher concentrations of SHMP.

Silver nano particles were simply synthesized by chemical reduction method. Silver Nitrate (AgNo3) is used as a base material and polyethylene glycol (PEG), polyethylene oxide (PEO) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) were used as stabilizers along with sodium citrate as reducing agent. The well organized silver nano particles in polymers were obtained at certain concentration ratio of polymers to silver nitrate at temperature below its decomposition (300o C). At all other concentrations the silver particles were polydispersed due to imperfect confinement. The SEM pictures reveal that the different stabilizers give rise to different shapes which vary from spherical to wire like to flaky ones. The biodegradable chitosan polymer seems to have more size control capacity than the other synthetic polymers.
